Ethiopian Konga is produced by Konga Zone Farmers and is Naturally processed and Sun-dried; red cherries are also selected with special care and dried on raised beds for outstanding quality and taste.
This coffee is from the Konga Zone of Irgachefe, also translated as Yirgacheffe, from a group of farmers who were prefinanced by the exporter and so they were able to sell the coffee outside the ECX (Ethiopia Commodity Exchange) channel. Yirgacheffe is the major town in the Yirgacheffe woreda in central-southern Ethiopia, located in the Gedeo region of the Southern Nations, Nationalities and People's Region.
